SHINE Studio is a safe, supportive after-school place for kids ages 8 and up to explore their creative side: To make connections, try new things, and get a little messy. A place bursting with inspiration, ideas and camaraderie. read more
Studies show creative free play provides a major boost for kids’ cognitive, emotional and social development. Studies also show kids today are getting less exposure to creative play. (There’s an abundance of screen time, overscheduling of structured youth activities, and budget-strapped schools facing tough choices, to name just a few factors.)
SHINE Studio is dedicated to hands-on, explorative, messy and creative free play. You know… the kind of creative play that builds brighter kids.
SHINE Studio is powered by Edgerton Family Martial Arts, where Aaron Stinski has been the owner and head instructor for 5+ years. His wife, Sara, is really pretty terrible at karate, but she is passionate about the arts. A freelance writer, marketing & creative director, and mom, Sara is excited to foster local opportunities for personal development in kids with a creative bent.
SHINE Studio represents the type of children’s programming we’ve searched for with our own kids in mind. We’d love to share it with your family as well.

SHINE Studio will foster a hands-on environment where creative-minded kids are exposed to new techniques and projects. We’ll regularly set up new stations and present new integrative themes designed to inspire, and we’ll also stock a variety of cool tools and supplies to encourage kids to pursue their own projects.
